Roast Beef Dinner

1: Allow your meat to set at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.

2: Begin by flavoring your roast with butter, salt, and pepper. Start with 2 tablespoons of each and add more if needed.

3: Pan sear each side of the roast for 2 to 3 minutes to lock in the juices.

4: Brew 1 cup of coffee.

5: Add vegetables to a steamable pan and place the roast in the pan with the cup of coffee. Seal the pan.

6: Bake at 325°F for 2 to 3 hours (adjust to 350°F for your oven).

7: For the gravy, sauté mushrooms and onions in 4 tablespoons of butter until softened.

8: Add 0.25 tablespoons of flour to the mixture and cook for 1 minute.

9: Stir in 0.25 cup of heavy cream and 3 cups of drippings from the roast. Simmer until thickened.

10: Serve the roast for dinner and save the leftovers for tomorrow.
